A little about Ken
Ken Snider has a unique background as an auctioneer and real estate broker. He was born and raised in Knox County and grew up working on the family farm handling various aspects of crop and livestock management. Ken attended Vincennes University and earned an Associate of Science degree in Agriculture before transferring up to Purdue University and completing a B.S. degree in Agricultural Economics. His studies included farm management, agronomy, land economics, and real estate appraisal. After graduating from Purdue, Ken served in the Army in South Korea.
Ken obtained his professional training from the Missouri Auction School in Kansas City, and is fully licensed by the State of Indiana. He also holds real estate licenses in Indiana, Illinois, and Florida. Ken serves as Expert Appraiser in Southern Indiana, Bankruptcy Court, Southern Illinois Bankruptcy Court, Knox County Circuit Court and Superior Court, and courts in the Indiana counties of Pike, Daviess, Gibson, and Sullivan, and courts in Lawrence County, Illinois.

Ken has served over eight years as the Indiana state Representative for this area and four years in the Indiana State Senate, and was the official Democratic candidate for Congress for the Eighth Congressional District of Indiana.
